I’d like to tell you just a little about myself. I have always been a person that loved to do things with my hands. When I was very young I tried piano lessons. Ok that didn’t work out, but it was always something. My Mother always had her four children busy with crafts. Later she taught me to sew and to knit. That was fun for a while, but not quite what I was looking for. Something was missing.

 

I needed sparkle! The glittering flash of light reflecting off a stone or silver. I started making simple twisted wire earrings, manipulating wire to form shapes, adding beads for sparkle. There it was.

I continued to make beaded jewelry off and on through out my life, trying new techniques and wanting more.

 

Finally, when I had more time in my life, I started taking a class here and there to learn how to fabricate jewelry. That was another huge change.

I finally found my true passion! Jewelry fabrication is something I feel compelled to do. They always say, do what you love, and you will never work a day in your life.
